A Welcoming Landmark

Project Name : Shankus Medicity Mehsana

Beds / Area : 250+ bed, & 2,00,000+ sq ft

Scope : End-to-End Planning & Design of the Hospital (Architecture, Structure, MEPFG.ELV, Interior, Biomedical Equipment Planning, Landscape, Master Planning)

The facade of Shankus Medicity is an architectural symphony of modern design and natural elements. The main building, clad in warm, textured brick panels, exudes a sense of permanence and trust. This is beautifully contrasted with large, reflective glass windows that not only flood the interiors with natural light but also offer a glimpse into the hospital’s advanced facilities. The design is broken into multiple blocks, reducing the intimidating scale of a large hospital. The covered drive-through entrance is both a practical and elegant feature, providing shelter and a clear point of arrival. The surrounding landscape, with its lush greenery, palm trees, and well-lit pathways, softens the hard lines of the building and creates a welcoming, resort-like atmosphere.

A Hub of Calm

Shankus Medicity, a 250-bed healthcare facility spanning 2,00,000 sq ft, is a masterpiece of biophilic design and intuitive space planning. The double-height atrium is designed as a central hub, with a series of curvilinear benches and integrated planters that create a sense of organic flow. The rich, wood-textured ceiling and layered lighting—including stunning suspended light fixtures—create a warm and inviting ambiance that immediately puts visitors at ease.
